iMIS, has acquired
Income Manager, a
Canadian firm serving over 650 clients in Canada, the US and Bermuda. With
offices in Canada, the USA, UK and Australia, ASI has served nearly 4,000
clients and millions of users worldwide.
Income Manager software will continue to be developed and supported,
explains Income Manager president
Michael
Baldwin. "The agreement will have an immediate positive impact for current
clients in addition to the high levels of personal service and support they
have come to expect. Our agreement ensures that all Income Manager staff will
remain employed and will transition over to the ASI business. I will continue
to play an active role in managing the business."
ASI will continue to invest in and develop the Income Manager product while offering
Income Manager clients the chance to upgrade to ASI products.
The acquisition gives ASI a wider spectrum of products for fundraising
customers of all sizes, and reflects its commitment to smaller fundraising
organizations, according to ASI chairman Bob
Alves.
With this acquisition, ASI now has over 850 not-for-profit customers
in Canada, making it the largest privately held vendor of software solutions to
charities and associations in the country.
